Carolina HerreraIn our ongoing mission to celebrate women in the arts, Carolina Herrera has joined forces with Catalan artist @rosa_tharrats for a new gallery show in Barcelona. Tharrats is a visual artist who utilizes fabric for incredibly intricate sculptural pieces, exploring the relationship between organic and inorganic materials. For her Refugia exhibition — open to the public at @bombonprojects in Barcelona until May 4 — Carolina Herrera has donated leftover textiles from CHNY collections for her to use, including a show stopping blue and green tapestry covering the walls of the gallery. “My goal is to create sensorial atmospheres with layers of meaning,” she says.
