Carolina HerreraAs part of its mission to celebrate women through the arts, Carolina Herrera is proud to announce the sponsorship of the ‘Maestras’ (‘Women Masters’) Exhibition at the iconic Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum in Madrid, opening October 31 through February 4. The exhibit, curated by Rocío de la Villa, features paintings and sculptures by 73 groundbreaking female artists from the 16th to 20th centuries whose talent prevailed despite prejudice, discrimination and inequitable treatment, in an unexpected exploration on womenhood through symbolism, sisterhood, work, motherhood and beyond, as protagonists of their own fates.
