We knew we couldn’t become the parents our daughter needed by staying the same. And we wouldn’t have came this far without submitting our lives fully to Christ. Truth is we all have a reason bigger than us. Jesus invites all to repent and walk into complete fullness of life through receiving his spirit. Even though drinking isn’t a sin. The way most of us drink is sinful by drinking to be drunk. 1 Peter 5:8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Ephesians 5:18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit. Proverbs 20:1 Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise. Romans 14:21 It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother or sister to fall. The truth is Every time you drink you’re damaging your personal health/life if not also others around you. And the ONLY benefits aren’t even real because the false confidence, stress relief, and happiness you may feel while drunk are usually followed by less confidence and even more stress and sadness than you felt before you started. The feelings of sin are temporary and will never compare to the true joy, strength and freedom of living a life guided by the Holy Spirit. John 4:14 “but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life” Type the word “drink” if you have any desire to stop we would love to pray for you.
