Beyond Officialgetting protein from plants will always be superior 📹: @Matt Johnson SERVES: 2 PREP TIME: 20 mins COOK TIME: 45 mins INGREDIENTS: 1 pack of Beyond Steak 1 bundle of green onions 1 red onion 1 red bell pepper 1 clementine 1 pineapple 1 cup of white rice 1 tbsp cornstarch 3 tbsp chili crunch 3 tbsp sriracha 4 tbsp hoisin sauce Soy sauce Black pepper Sesame seeds PREPARATION: 1. Wash & dry your produce then cut your vegetables into similar-sized pieces (scallions, red onion, & bell pepper). Split pineapple in half, remove the insides. 2. Heat a pan (with oil) to medium-high. Season your Beyond Steak with some oil, black pepper, & a tablespoon of cornstarch. 3. Once the pan is hot, throw meat in along with a tablespoon of chili crunch. Cook until it has a nice crust sear on the outside (about 4 minutes); stir halfway, don’t touch it too much. Once meat is ready, remove it from pan & set aside. 4. Add more oil to pan. Once that comes to temp, throw in your vegetables. Add some soy sauce, 1 tbsp of chili crunch, and black pepper. Sauté vegetables until they’ve taken on some of the soy sauce’s color (about 3-4 mins). 5. Remove vegetables from pan, make your sauce by adding sriracha, hoisin sauce, 1 tbsp of chili crunch, & soy sauce to the pan (should still be on medium-high heat). Stir the sauce frequently to keep it from separating or burning. 6. After about 30 seconds, lower the heat to a slight simmer (2/10 heat) & squeeze the juice from a clementine into the sauce. Add in a couple pieces with the peel still on (this adds more flavor). 7. Stir frequently until the sauce is well combined and forms a syrup-like consistency (about 1-2 mins). Add your meat and vegetables back into the pan and mix until everything is well coated with the sauce. 8. Turn off the heat and add some sesame seeds then stir. 9. Add some rice into the mix if you would like, then add the mix into the bowls you made with the pineapple. Garnish with more green onions and sesame seeds, then enjoy! Notes: - If you would like it less sweet, don’t add the clementine - If you would like it less spicy, don’t add as much chili crunch
