BERNARDLast night, I partnered with @Pull&Bear to champion emerging talent, because fashion is about more than just the clothes—it’s also about the community and the spaces we create together for the next generation. As we took over Hidden Grooves—who hosted our intimate dinner in the heart of Shoreditch, the undisputed heartbeat of London’s creativity—Pull&Bear truly went above and beyond to support the industry's rising talent. The highlight of the evening was hosting a panel conversation about personal branding—from a business perspective and a ‘person of value’ perspective. Gesa Matyschok, who currently oversees talent acquisition across 12 countries and has led teams for giants like Net-A-Porter, Estée Lauder, and Hearst, shared the "inside track" on exactly what makes a candidate stand out among thousands. Beside her was the legendary Mimma Viglezio, @mimma_viglezio a powerhouse whose career spans from Editor-in-Chief of SHOWstudio to executive roles at Gucci Group (now Kering), Louis Vuitton, and Bulgari. Mimma’s dedication to equipping young designers with the actual tools to succeed is why she is the go-to advisor for the industry’s brightest start-ups.
