Baldwin & Co.New Orleans: if you’re in community with me, I need you in BOTH rooms. September 17: Dr. Ibram X. Kendi with @Jerid P. Woods, Ph.D. at @Baldwinandcompany. September 18: Colin Kaepernick at @studio_be_. We already understand why people will show up for Kap. But hear me: We cannot only show up for the resistance. We have to show up to understand what we’re resisting. The movement needs people willing to put their bodies on the line AND thinkers willing to interrogate the ideas, histories, and systems that brought us here. That’s community. That’s why I’m asking you to show up for both. And don’t save this for later. REGISTER FOR BOTH EVENTS NOW at Baldwinandcobooks.com. LINK IN BIO. Then send this to somebody and tell them: “I’ll meet you in the room.” September 17. Kendi. September 18. Kaepernick. Show up for the resistance. Show up for the study. #IbramXKendi #ColinKaepernick #BaldwinAndCo #NewOrleans #BookTok
