Baldwin & Co.A few years ago, both of these writers were dreaming toward a debut collection. Today, they’re helping expand the possibilities of contemporary Black and diasporic storytelling. I had the pleasure of hosting T Clark and Annell López for the Baldwin & Co. Podcast to discuss desire, identity, place, memory, and the complicated journey of becoming. T’s debut collection, All This Want (And I Can’t Get None), arrives June 23, and it’s the kind of book that reminds you just how powerful the short story form can be—fearless, tender, and unforgettable. And Annell López continues to offer some of the most compelling storytelling at the intersection of Black and Dominican life, illuminating the beauty, contradictions, and humanity of communities too often left at the margins. 🖤 Be sure to preorder T’s All This Want (And I Can’t Get None) and order your copy of Annell’s I’ll Give You a Reason through Baldwin & Co. Support independent bookstores and the writers shaping the future of literature. And be on the lookout for this podcast in the next few weeks! 📚 BaldwinAndCoBooks.com #BaldwinAndCo #BlackLiterature #BookTok #SupportIndieBookstores #NOLA @annellthebookbabe
