Aveda"I first understood who we are through my father's stories. The distance from our homelands never kept him from planting the seeds in our minds of the beauty of where our people come from. My life, my politics, and my art are all informed by the stories he told us when we were children." — Xiuhtezcatl (@xiuhtezcatl), a Xochimilca recording artist, author, and activist. This National Hispanic Heritage Month, we celebrate the stories that connect us to our roots, preserve culture across generations, and remind us that heritage is something we carry with us wherever we go. #HispanicHeritageMonth
