AlexiskristianaAnd to make it even better, New York in the fall is such a movie… So happy to be back in the city where my motherhood journey started. Where I was born as a mother. Walking the same streets I used to walk with my two babies, now with all three of my kids… it’s just so full circle. And to any mom who feels stuck in an environment where she’s been told she’s supposed to thrive, wondering if she’s somehow the problem because she doesn’t… listen to your gut, and most importantly listen to yourself. The same way we trust ourselves to advocate for our children, we have to be willing to advocate for ourselves, too. I have never been happier, even on the hardest days of mothering three small children, figuring things out as a first-generation homeschooler, and running my own business, that joy is still there. I feel it every day because I chose an environment where I feel ROOTED, not just for myself, but for my family too. Sometimes I’m just walking home and thinking… we really did this. This is our life AGAIN now, and I’m so thankful to be back here, living it and sharing it here🤍 Have you ever lived somewhere that just didn’t feel like you?
