Alex AmplatzWould you try this? 🤯 You’re about to discover a sport you never knew existed - Follow my account or this might be the last time you’re going to see it🪂 Using a small, highly responsive wing, pilots launch from mountains and fly just inches above the terrain at speeds that can exceed 100 km/h (60+ mph). What makes it look so unbelievable is that we’re not trying to avoid the mountain—we’re using it. Flying close to the slope allows us to follow its shape, creating the illusion that we’re “breaking the rules of flight.” In reality, every turn, every line, and every movement is carefully planned. The closer you fly, the faster everything happens. At these speeds, a single second can cover dozens of meters, leaving almost no room for mistakes. That’s why what looks effortless on camera is actually the result of years of training, weather knowledge, and thousands of flights. Most people watch these videos wondering, “How is this even possible?” The answer is simple: physics, precision, and experience. So before you scroll… watch closely. Every line you see was chosen on purpose, and there’s far more happening than meets the eye #paragliding #adrenaline #extremesports
