I couldn’t thank them enough. My Mumma was sat by my side every day and night in hospital and even when we was home she slept on my bedroom floor for weeks. She was there for every struggle and every time I just needed to cry. She was always my comfort and my person. My dad helped me feel safe and confident when having to build my confidence again, he was there when I fainted, he was there when I had to walk first thing after surgery. He was always there by my side making sure I was secure and safe.
